The Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) provides protections for many workers against unfair practices within the workplace.

If you are an employee who has been dismissed from your employment in circumstances which are harsh, unjust or unreasonable, you can apply to the Fair Work Commission for reinstatement (either to your original position or a different position).  Alternatively, if your relationship with your employer has completely broken down, then compensation of may be available.

In order to access these potential entitlements, you must lodge your application in the Commission within 21 days of the termination of your employment, so seek our advice without delay.
